OCR: AM/FM "Mona's Song" - by Bjºrn A. Lynne (AM/FM Ed) Stored on this disk both as Standard MIDI file and Music-X Performance file. Composed by Bjºrn A. Lynne, dedicated to his lovely girlfriend Mona, and exclusively submitted to AM/FM by Bjºrn A. Lynne. to Well folks, here's a little tune I put together one night; it's kind of a little love song, so I dedicated it to my girlfriend Mona and called it, you guessed it, "Mona's Song". Since the song structure was as simple as it is, I decid build up he song "the hard way", i.e. without using a Conductor Sequence in Music-X, but instead just playing all the sequences in parallell. This enabled me to successfully convert the song from Music-X to Standard MIDI, so here it is in both formats. The Standard MIDI version might not play 100% perfectly, because the song changes tempo a few times, and that hasn't always worked out so fine after the conversion, so for best listening, I still recommend the Music-X version. Here's the MIDI setup and the instruments I used: Channel 1: Acoustic piano (I used one with a pad added to it, the sound called "Keys & Pad" on my Ensoniq SQ-R Plus) Channel 2: High string and a soft lead (used for lead melody) Channel 3: Flute – as close to the real thing as you can get. NOT Pan-flute. Channel 4: Low Strings - used to add some chords in the background. Channel 5: High Strings - more background chords, these should only be very discrete in the background. Channel 13: Even more background fill, this sound is called StringOrgan on my Roland Juno-2; it is a strange mix between a string and a church organ. This too should NOT be mixed very loud. Enjoy!
